Hemianopia, Double Vision and Low Vision Consequences
Our optic lab specializes in low vision and prismatic lenses for such optical consequences as hemianopia and cranial nerve palsy. In cases of hemianopia, trauma to the brain from a stroke or other injury causes a patient to experience an extensive loss of vision in either one eye or both eyes, while cranial nerve palsy can create a double vision effect. In both cases as well as other low vision consequences, custom made specialty low vision lenses can provide real relief and positive results in the vision and lives of the patients affected.
